Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at East Valley Rehab Center, you will:

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, reducing pain, and preventing further disability in patients based on thorough assessments of their needs.
• Evaluate patients through diagnostic assessments such as muscle, nerve, joint, and functional testing to determine their level of physical capabilities.
• Oversee the delivery of physical therapy protocols by supervising physical therapy assistants and ensuring adherence to care plans in accordance with best practices.
• Conduct home evaluations to provide insights that enhance client independence while recommending modifications for a safer living environment.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and physical modalities, including manual therapy techniques, traction, and massage.
• Keep detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with agency standards.
