Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to a diverse caseload, including strength training, mobility exercises, and pain management techniques tailored to each patient.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Instruct patients and their families on exercises and therapeutic techniques to perform at home, facilitating ongoing recovery.
• Manage and prioritize a caseload effectively, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. This includes providing care to both adults and pediatric populations, ensuring that your therapeutic interventions cater to the specific developmental and physical needs of each demographic. The ability to communicate effectively with children and their guardians, as well as adult patients, is essential for fostering trust and enhancing the therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in California.
• A Bachelor's Degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, with completion within 30 days of the start date.
• No prior experience is necessary; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
