Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office, where therapists and support staff work collaboratively in a welcoming, professional atmosphere. We prioritize a manageable patient load, allowing therapists to dedicate adequate time and attention to each individual. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and tools, including WebPT for documentation, ensuring that our therapists can efficiently track patient progress and tailor their care accordingly. The work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient evaluations to assess movement limitations and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing functional mobility.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to the patient's specific needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress by documenting each session in WebPT, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Educate patients about their conditions and treatment processes, fostering understanding and encouraging active participation in their recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient outcomes and streamline care procedures.
• Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss clinical best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Functional Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus on functional improvement extends to all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric patients, ensuring that everyone receives personalized attention that respects their unique circumstances and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Doctorate or Master's degree preferred).
• Current Physical Therapy license in California or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in clinical judgment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping patients achieve meaningful improvement in their lives.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist, with a focus on outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience using clinical documentation software, specifically WebPT, to track patient progress and manage treatment plans effectively.
• Ability to work within a collaborative team environment and contribute to the collective goals of the clinic.

Compensation and Benefits

This Financially rewarding position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
