Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient conditions through thorough examinations and interviews to develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Guide patients through tailored rehabilitation regimens, working with 1 to 2 patients per hour to ensure focused attention and care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques that may include manual therapy, exercise regimens, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on outcomes and patient feedback using the WebPT system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case discussions and contributing insights to optimize patient treatment.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes, exercises, and lifestyle changes to promote long-term well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and various musculoskeletal injuries. This role requires a sensitivity to the needs of diverse patients, including those recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, and a commitment to fostering their personal growth and confidence throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Hold an active California Physical Therapist license or the ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning and a hands-on approach that focuses on patient engagement.
• Ability to motivate and inspire patients to take an active role in their recovery process.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly with orthopedic or rehabilitation patients.
• Experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR), specifically WebPT or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits
