Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will predominantly work during weekdays, with hours ranging from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mobility and physical capabilities to establish individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver direct therapy services, focusing on orthopedic outpatient care, while managing 1-2 patients per hour to ensure personalized attention.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities for pain relief and functional enhancement.
• Regularly evaluate and adjust therapy plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring dynamic treatment paths that evolve with patient needs.
• Document patient progress and therapy interventions meticulously in WebPT, maintaining compliance with facility and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create cohesive treatment strategies for complex cases.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to ensure sustained recovery beyond therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their movement. You will work closely with a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes to older adults, each with unique rehabilitation goals. Your role will be crucial in tailoring interventions to meet specific functional objectives, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care tailored to their individual circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required for this position, although a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Possession of an active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one is necessary for practice.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for assessing patient needs and customizing rehabilitation strategies.

Preferred Experience
