Position Overview

Burger Physical Therapy is excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a State Board Licensed Physical Therapist in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Santa Clara, California. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services, with the flexibility of a Monday to Friday schedule or four ten-hour days.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical health to create tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, focusing on improving mobility and functional abilities through active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and gait training.
• Guide patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) while providing education to both patients and their families on care plans and rehabilitation strategies.
• Collaborate with team members, including physicians and occupational therapists, to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay informed of the latest therapeutic practices and advancements in orthopedics.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university, or the equivalent foreign qualifications.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applications from new graduates, previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desired.
