Work Environment

Our outpatient office in Santa Clara is designed to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, you will engage in regular collaborative sessions to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including assessments of strength, flexibility, and mobility, to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation and recovery.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and alternative rehabilitation modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, therapeutic procedures, and strategies for at-home exercises to enhance their recovery process.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of patient progress and treatment sessions through our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay informed on the latest physical therapy research and evidence-based practices to provide state-of-the-art care.
• Offer ongoing emotional and motivational support to patients, helping them navigate their recovery journey with confidence.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to foster a cohesive team environment focused on continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population with orthopedic conditions, ranging from sports injuries to postoperative rehabilitation and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Degree or further certifications in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A current and valid Physical Therapy license in California.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association, which must be maintained throughout employment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient education and collaborative practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in managing diverse patient cases.
• Experience with manual therapy techniques, sports injury recovery, and strategies for postoperative rehabilitation is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.

Compensation and Benefits
