Work Environment

This role is set in a vibrant and fully equipped home care facility, combining modern technology with a warm, supportive atmosphere. Our dedicated team comprises two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all focused on providing exceptional patient care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent and predictable routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine individual goals and needs.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and personalized treatment sessions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a range of treatment techniques tailored to individual recovery journeys.
• Employ effective exercise routines and manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, sharing insights and strategies to improve care delivery.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, documenting all services provided with accuracy and detail.
• Guide and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to encourage sustained engagement and progress.
• Educate patients and families on healthful practices to promote a long-term commitment to wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance, focused on orthopedic rehabilitation. We serve a diverse demographic that includes athletes seeking to recover from injuries, older adults working to regain independence, and individuals managing chronic pain or post-surgical recovery. Our commitment to exemplary patient care ensures that every individual receives the attention and specialized treatment they deserve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with no prior board or disciplinary actions.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and understanding of therapeutic exercise.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with advanced training or certifications in orthopedic physical therapy or specialized treatment methods will be prioritized. Proficiency in creating customized exercise regimens for various conditions will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 – 120,000, commensurate with experience.
