Work Environment

This full-time Physical Therapist role is based onsite in our home care setting. Your work week will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will collaborate closely with a small team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). This intimate team structure fosters a supportive atmosphere where team members can lean on one another for sharing best practices, discussing complex cases, and ensuring comprehensive care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess patients' unique goals and needs to formulate tailored treatment strategies.
• Manage an individual caseload at a rate of one patient per hour, ensuring each session is personalized and effective.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that focus on improving patients' range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans that utilize diverse treatment modalities including manual therapy and exercise protocols.
• Create individualized fitness and wellness programs that align with patient goals, supporting their journey towards optimal health.
• Deliver continuous motivation and encouragement to patients, facilitating their progress and adherence to treatment plans.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, monitor patient progress, and communicate adjustments in care as necessary.
• Document all patient care services accurately, maintaining compliance with essential healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients who seek rehabilitation and enhanced functionality post-injury or surgery. You will work predominantly with individuals who hold private insurance, allowing for personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific rehabilitation goals. The warm, family-oriented atmosphere of our practice encourages positive communication and collaboration between therapists and patients, ensuring exceptional healing experiences.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Strong competence in designing and implementing effective exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with patients in a home care or similar environment.
• Familiarity with current advancements in physical therapy practices and technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, continuing education allowances, and paid time off.
