Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, with a focus on delivering home care services. You will work from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a work-life balance while addressing the growing demand for physical therapy in our community. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, and you will have access to a wealth of resources to support both your patients' and your professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to establish their goals and requirements.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, dedicating one hour to each individual to ensure focused and personalized attention.
• Employ a range of techniques to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions, emphasizing cost-effective interventions that aim to enhance patients' mobility.
• Design and implement tailored care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced rehabilitation techniques.
• Motivate and empower patients throughout their treatment journey, optimizing their functional abilities and encouraging a positive outlook on recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, maintaining clear and consistent communication regarding treatment goals and progress.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans thoroughly, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and our internal quality assurance guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve orthopedic patients, including those recovering from post-surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. You will have the opportunity to apply your specialized skills in various settings, adjusting your approach based on each patient's unique needs and lifestyle, thus fostering a deeper therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Unblemished professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your licensing.
• Strong competency in manual therapy techniques, coupled with a solid foundation in developing exercise protocols tailored to individual patients.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient care setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently.
• Experience in developing wellness and fitness programs tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
