Experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Opportunity

This is an onsite position based primarily in a clinical setting at our rehabilitation facility. The atmosphere is collaborative, supportive, and focused on improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment goals, and design strategies to facilitate optimal recovery and performance.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, averaging two patients per hour, providing each individual with dedicated and focused care.
• Carry out effective therapeutic interventions and administer treatment modalities that promote mobility and functional independence.
• Implement cost-effective strategies to minimize reliance on medication by proposing and supporting non-surgical alternatives.
• Formulate and revise individualized treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Create and lead customized fitness and wellness programs targeting increasing strength, endurance, and balance for each patient.
• Document services provided meticulously, ensuring accurate and timely updates in our EMR system, such as WebPT.
• Encourage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, celebrating progress and fostering a positive mindset toward recovery.
• Continuously collaborate with healthcare colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to improve outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our team, you will primarily work with patients who have private medical insurance and require orthopedic rehabilitation services. Our clientele varies widely, including athletes seeking recovery from sports injuries, individuals recovering from surgeries, and patients managing chronic pain conditions. Your ability to connect with each patient and provide tailored therapy will be critical to their rehabilitation success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Current, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• Clean license with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and active management of patient care.
• Experience with EMR software, specifically WebPT, to maintain comprehensive patient records.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required. Candidates should demonstrate a successful track record in implementing evidence-based treatment practices and achieving positive patient outcomes. Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities and fitness approaches is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
