This full-time position offers the opportunity to work directly with patients in a rehabilitation facility setting located in beautiful San Jose, California. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed to create a welcoming and healing atmosphere for both patients and staff. Located in a convenient area of San Jose, our clinic features modern treatment spaces and advanced therapeutic equipment. You'll work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while being part of a supportive team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, employing various testing methods such as range of motion, muscle strength, and functional evaluations to identify impairments and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, incorporating physician recommendations and regularly updating plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Deliver high-quality patient care through the application of advanced physical therapy techniques, enhancing patient recovery and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, providing insights on physical function and treatment strategies.
• Supervise and mentor support personnel and non-professional staff, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective therapy interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic works primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We emphasize personalized care, focusing on each patient's unique needs and goals. As a Physical Therapist here, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including athletes, post-surgical patients, and individuals seeking rehabilitation after accidents or serious illnesses.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation, demonstrating a solid foundation in patient assessment and treatment protocols.
• A clean professional record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and the creation of tailored exercise regimens.

Preferred Experience

While the baseline requirement is a minimum of three years in orthopedic physical rehabilitation, candidates with specialized training in sports therapy or post-surgical recovery will be highly regarded. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and knowledge of evidence-based practice models will set applicants apart.

Compensation and Benefits
