Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs through detailed assessments and diagnostic tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific patient conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative therapy techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Implement hands-on physical therapy sessions focused on improving strength, flexibility, and functional mobility, treating 1–2 patients per hour.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to accurately document treatment plans and progress, ensuring meticulous records for ongoing care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide cohesive and comprehensive care approaches for every patient.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, lifestyle adjustments, and home care routines to facilitate continued recovery outside the clinical setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist in this role will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients, which may include individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, or chronic pain conditions. Our diverse clientele ranges from adolescents to seniors, requiring an adaptable and patient-centered approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active California PT license or eligibility to obtain one is essential for this role, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the establishment of strong rapport with patients and collaborative relationships with colleagues.
