Lead Instructional Coach Your role involves guiding K‑8 students and instructional staff to meet Alpha’s learning objectives. You facilitate interactive life‑skills and social‑emotional learning sessions, mentor students to achieve weekly targets, develop coaches through observation and feedback, analyze data to identify support needs, and maintain high performance standards for all team members. Key Responsibilities Facilitating one‑hour interactive life skills and social‑emotional learning (SEL) sessions with K-8 students covering subjects such as public speaking and concentration. Conducting daily motivational sessions to ensure 100% of students reach weekly application targets. Developing and coaching Guides via direct observation, focused feedback, and practical training. Analyzing Coachbot data and individual student records to determine support needs and provide direct assistance. Personally mentoring assigned student cohort, modeling coaching and motivational approaches for all Guides. What You Won’t Be Doing Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum content. Delivering lectures to a classroom – primary role is engaging and entertaining. Compromising standards to parent or school leadership pressures. Spending time in an office handling administrative documents. Waiting extended periods for performance evaluations. Basic Requirements Current residence in or willingness to relocate to one of the listed locations, with relocation assistance available. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline (Master’s preferred; teaching certification not required). Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or comparable area. Experience creating and executing educational programs, curricula, or training solutions. Proven history of managing a team of 5 or more individuals, including recruitment and performance‑based decisions. Background in coaching, mentoring, or delivering constructive feedback to enhance engagement and output. Experience supporting youth aged 5–14 in educational or developmental contexts. Capability to leverage data and metrics for decision‑making and ongoing improvement. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Nice‑to‑Have Requirements Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or Business. Experience as an athletic coach, camp director, or youth program coordinator with measurable outcomes. History of coaching adults in performance‑based roles. Comfort performing before large groups of children. Compensation & Benefits $200,000 annually (equivalent to $100 per hour), paid weekly.
