Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Database Administrator to support our US Mint program. This position will be located in Washington, DC and will be a hybrid remote position.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. DBA in design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Oracle and SQL databases.

• Experience in optimizing database performance and security.

• Design, configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Oracle and SQL databases.

• Apply practical skills, training, and experience to ensure database reliability and performance.

Qualifications

High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of Oracle and SQL database design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

• Practical skills and training in database administration.

• At least one of the following certifications At least one certification(s) prior to onboarding and the second within six months: Microsoft Certified Azure database Administrator Associates Professional, Oracle Certified Associate.

• Oracle Database Administration Certified

• Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate Professional

Clearance Required: US Citizenship is required to attain and maintain US Mint Public Trust

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Associate degree in a relevant field - preferred.

Posted Salary Range

USD $65,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
