About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Underwriting E&S with a focus on environmental casualty insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the underwriting team, ensuring that the team meets financial goals, and maintaining a strong understanding of the organization's strategic objectives. This senior leadership role demands a professional with over 15 years of commercial lines property and casualty experience, particularly in environmental casualty underwriting, and a proven track record in underwriting, risk assessment, and managing strategic relationships within the Excess & Surplus insurance sector. The Vice President will also be involved in broker development, product planning, and reinsurance placement, and will be expected to champion innovation in underwriting processes and technologies. Applicants for the Vice President, Underwriting E&S position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, with a preference for those holding a Master's degree or industry certification such as CPCU.
