M&C Saatchi World Services US is seeking a highly analytical and intellectually curious Data Analyst to support delivery of a federal contract. This role builds on core data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement while adding hands-on work with Python, AWS data sources, and generative and LLM-based systems.

THE ROLE

The Data Analyst will collect, organize, validate, and analyze data from databases, third-party APIs, and Amazon S3 to support performance reporting, dashboards, and client decision-making. The role will help improve recurring data workflows and make information easier for project teams to use. Working with engineers, product and UX colleagues, and government stakeholders, you will solve complex data problems. This includes helping prepare accurate input data, testing outputs against program needs, and turning complex client questions into clear, evidence-based analyses and recommendations. The ideal candidate combines strong reporting and analytical skills with practical Python and SQL. They are comfortable using AI-assisted development tools responsibly, communicate findings clearly, and bring a creative, pragmatic approach to client problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze program, digital, communications, outreach, and operational data to identify trends, performance insights, risks, and opportunities.

• Translate client questions into practical data requirements and analytical approaches, proposing creative solutions to mission and operational problems.

• Develop, test, and validate SQL queries and data extracts; reconcile results across sources and document query logic, assumptions, and limitations.

• Use Python to support repeatable data intake, cleaning, API calls, and reporting workflows across databases, third-party sources, and Amazon S3.

• Use Claude Code, Codex, or comparable AI-assisted tools to help develop and refine queries and data workflows; independently review and validate the results before use.

• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams that use generative and LLM-based systems, helping prepare data, test outputs, capture feedback, and identify improvements for client workflows. • Maintain data quality, reconciliation, documentation, and standard operating procedures that make recurring reporting reliable and understandable.

• Produce clear, defensible government-facing reports, briefs, data summaries, and technical documentation that explain methods, findings, source limitations, and recommendations.

• Support dashboard development, recurring reporting, and ad hoc analyses that help government stakeholders understand delivery, risks, opportunities, and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 4 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, performance measurement, or a related analytical field.

• Python proficiency for data collection, cleaning, analysis, and repeatable reporting or data workflow tasks.

• Working proficiency with SQL and relational data, including the ability to develop, validate, and explain multi-step queries.

• Experience acquiring and processing data from APIs, common formats such as JSON and CSV, and Amazon S3 or comparable cloud storage.

• Experience working in AWS or another cloud-based data environment and familiarity with sound data quality and documentation practices.

• Experience or strong practical interest in working with generative and LLM-based systems in analytics, product, or client-support workflows.

• Comfort using Claude Code, Codex, or comparable AI-assisted development tools while applying independent judgment and validation practices.

• Ability to write concise, accurate reports and briefings for government or other external stakeholders.

• Experience producing dashboards, visualizations, executive summaries, or recurring analytical products for stakeholders and decision-makers.

• Strong analytical reasoning, attention to detail, and a collaborative, creative approach to solving client problems.

• Ability to manage multiple data requests and deadlines while communicating progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, as required by the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS data services or comparable cloud tools that support reporting and data workflows.

• Experience with Git, testing practices, or repeatable data pipeline and reporting processes.

• Experience supporting federal government, public-sector, mission-driven, or security-sensitive programs.

• Experience with generative and LLM-based systems, dashboards, or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Educational Requirements:

BA or BS in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field preferred.

Approximately 4 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, performance measurement, or a related analytical field.

Language Requirements: Fluent written and spoken English required

Eligibility Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen, as required by the government contract. Clearance Eligibility: Must be able and willing to obtain a U.S. Government Secret or Top Secret security clearance immediately upon employment. Background Screening: Must be willing to submit to a rigorous federal background investigation, including an in-depth review of personal finances, criminal history, employment history, and drug use.
