Job Summary:
The Oncology/Women's Surgical Nursing position is located in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized nursing care on a medical surgical oncology floor within a busy healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Asheville, North Carolina
• Shift: Nights
• Hours per shift: 12 hours
• Minimum hours per week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: License (RN or CNA), Basic Life Support (BLS); candidates with Chemo Certification and experience with procedures such as echo and thoracentesis are preferred; no minimum years of experience specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with chemotherapy certification and experience with pelvic exams are considered for priority.
• Schedule: Night Shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit is a 24-bed oncology and women's surgical unit with a staff of 42, including RNs, CNAs, and other team members. The unit uses Cerner electronic medical records and standard hospital equipment. Team players willing to learn and adapt to hospital policies are ideal. Floating to other medical-surgical units may be required.
