# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care / ICU – New Jersey

Schedule:

36 hours per week, 13-week assignment, every other weekend required, block scheduling

Highlights:

• Critical care environment with MICU (15 beds), SICU (12 beds), and CCU (13 beds) units
• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 in critical care settings; 1:4-6+ when floated to step-down units
• Diverse patient mix including ventilator management, post-surgical, cardiac post-cath, and neuro/stroke post-TNK patients
• Epic EMR system utilized across all units
• Float primarily within ICU settings based on staffing and unit needs
• First-time travelers welcome with appropriate experience
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey state RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1.5 years of acute care experience in critical care setting
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and Stroke CEUs (all required at submission)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Strong clinical skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, and blood product administration
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, emergency medications, and post-cardiac catheterization care
• Ability to float within ICU settings based on unit needs
• Charge nurse experience preferred
