Plant Director - Food Manufacturing
Our client is a growing food manufacturer with significant customer demand and substantial opportunity to increase production through stronger operational execution.
They are seeking a hands-on Plant Director to take ownership of plant performance, build accountability, and unlock additional capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day plant operations and frontline teams
- Drive KPIs, OEE, labor efficiency, throughput, and cost performance
- Establish standard work and operational discipline
- Reduce waste, scrap, downtime, and variability
- Partner closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Sanitation
- Develop leaders and build a high-performance plant culture
- Own plant budget and operational performance
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced Plant/Manufacturing leader
- Strong people manager with hourly workforce experience
- Hands-on, floor-oriented leadership style
- Lean/continuous improvement mindset
- KPI-driven and highly accountable
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
