This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a skilled professional looking to join a dynamic production team that values accuracy, safety, and quality craftsmanship.Position Type: Full-TimeLocation: Fort Worth, TXShift: Day ShiftCompensation: Competitive (Based on Experience)Position SummaryThe CNC Pipe Cutting & Plasma Table Operator is responsible for setting up and operating automated CNC pipe cutting equipment and plasma cutting tables. This role focuses on producing high-quality components for industrial piping systems by loading materials, adjusting programs, and ensuring all finished pieces match exact specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation: Safely set up and operate CNC pipe cutting equipment and CNC plasma cutting tables.Material Handling: Load, align, and secure carbon steel pipe and plate materials for cutting; utilize forklifts and overhead cranes safely as needed.Blueprint Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, cut lists, and work orders.Quality Control: Verify dimensions and inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, squares, and angle gauges to ensure strict quality requirements are met.Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Monitor machine operations, make minor program or offset adjustments, and perform routine maintenance/daily machine inspections.Production Workflow: Organize cut materials for the next stage of production, maintain accurate production records, and collaborate with the Production Supervisor to meet schedules.Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean work environment and strictly follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.Position RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC pipe cutting machines, CNC plasma tables, or similar automated cutting equipment.Material Expertise: Proven experience cutting carbon steel pipe and plate.Technical Skills: Strong ability to read fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Basic computer proficiency required to operate CNC equipment software.Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills for minor equipment adjustments.Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, and stand, walk, bend, or climb throughout the workday in a manufacturing environment.Attributes: Reliable attendance, strong attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.Preferred QualificationsExperience in industrial pipe fabrication, structural steel fabrication, or process/pressure piping.Prior experience with CNC plasma or oxy-fuel cutting equipment.Certified or experienced in material handling using overhead cranes.Why Work with PrideStaff?At PrideStaff, we deliver standard-setting support to our associates.
