Fiber Optic Laser Operator – 1st or 2nd Shift
Location: Fort Worth, TX 76110
Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour, or more depending on experience

Available Shifts
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Position Overview
Smith Personnel is hiring experienced Fiber Optic Laser Operators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC laser cutting equipment and be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a shop environment.
This position focuses on operating TRUMPF laser equipment used in a manufacturing operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of CNC laser cutting experience required
- Fiber optic/CNC laser operating experience preferred
- TRUMPF laser experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and resolve minor machine issues
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety and production procedures
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC fiber optic laser cutting equipment
- Set up and monitor laser cutting operations
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine machine checks and minor troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow production schedules and work instructions
- Meet production and quality standards
Pay
$19.00–$20.00 per hour — or more for the right experience!
