CNC Laser Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift - $19-$20/hr

Ascend Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Laser Operator for a manufacturing company in Fort Worth, TX 76110 specializing in automotive lifts and other metal fabrication products.

We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in CNC laser operations who is comfortable setting up and operating equipment, reading blueprints, and checking finished parts for accuracy. TRUMPF laser experience is preferred, but candidates with experience operating other CNC laser equipment will also be considered.

Pay

• $19.00-$20.00/hr, based on experience

• Weekly pay

Shifts

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM-4:00 PM

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-2:00 AM

• 2nd-shift candidates will initially train on 1st shift

• Overtime available, with employees averaging approximately 50 hours per week

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment

• Load and position metal materials for production

• Read and work from blueprints, measurements, and specifications

• Monitor equipment throughout the cutting process

• Make machine adjustments as needed

• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality

• Identify and report production or quality issues

• Follow all safety and quality procedures

• Cross-train and assist in other manufacturing areas as needed

Requirements

• 2-3 years of machine operating or related manufacturing experience preferred

• Previous CNC laser operating experience

• TRUMPF laser experience preferred, but not required

• Blueprint reading required

• Ability to read measurements and check finished parts for accuracy

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Must be flexible and willing to cross-train

• Must be available for overtime as needed

• Steel-toe boots required

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation required
