Job Title: Commercial Refrigeration Technician Location: Sarasota and surrounding counties (reporting to Office) Job Type: Full-Time Salary/Hourly Pay: Competitive Pay; Hourly range of $20/Hr - $40/Hr based on experience plus commissions/bonus Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our client's team in Sarasota, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of refrigeration systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service. IMPORTANT: This is not a Residential HVAC Service Tech role - this is for Commercial Customers including Restaurants, Convenience Stores, Office Buildings and other commercial clients. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems. Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems. Provide recommendations for improving system performance and efficiency. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations and recommendations. Provide exceptional customer service and education to the customer base. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid technician certification preferred (e.g., EPA 608 Certification). 3+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration or HVAC installation and repair. Valid driver's license with the ability to pass a background check and drug test. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
