Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.What You Will Do:Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge systems.Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.What You Will Learn:A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures.Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.Software lifecycle practices for defense projects.Qualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe and DevSecOps.Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible.Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++, Python, Ada, or similar.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements.Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems.Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of Red Hat and Linux Operating Systems.Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.Experience working closely and directly within a team environment.Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.Knowledge of common skills for software application developmentWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
