This role requires working night shifts. The nurse will care for a general medical surgical population. Common diagnoses include CHF, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, and cancer. Experience in telemetry and managing drips is essential. The nurse will monitor patients using telemetry equipment. Responsibilities include administering medications and managing IVs. The patient-to-nurse ratio will be 1:5. Floating within the specialty and lower acuity is required as needed. Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory as scheduled. Candidates must manage cardiac drips without titration. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The department is equipped with telemetry and other medical equipment. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are vital for success. All compliance documentation must be completed prior to the start date.
