Mainframe Developer with CICS

Salary: $95,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:
- 10+ years of work experience
- Experience with COBOL, VSAM, and DB2
- Exposure to migrating large-scale mainframe applications to distributed systems, including the use of AI solutions in migrations
- Knowledge of IMS and/or IDMS databases
- Familiarity with CICS or IBM Assembler
- Knowledge of mainframe system architecture and generative or agentic AI
- Design, develop, and implement large-scale mainframe database applications in a distributed development environment
- Translate requirements into business processes and application designs using COBOL and relevant databases
- Participate in business value assessments and business requirements elaboration
- Create detailed designs for workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and reports
- Coordinate unit and integration testing with the development team, and work with the testing team on bug fixes in consultation with product management
- Design and code database applications to specifications using appropriate tools and our coding standards, with an emphasis on minimizing maintenance needs
