Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Administer prescribed medications and infusions, including agents like Cardizem and IV insulin drips, following orders and safety protocols.
- Monitor patient status, interpret rhythm strips as needed, and promptly respond to changes in condition; notify the care team of significant findings.
- Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred).
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care; provide patient and family education.
- Maintain infection control practices, safety standards, and patient privacy; may be asked to float to related units as assignment requires.

Requirements
- Active New Hampshire or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in a Med Surg Tele or related setting
- Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia Exam with at least 80% during onboarding
- NURSYS license verification of all active RN licenses
- EMR experience preferred (Cerner strongly preferred but not required)
- Cardizem and IV insulin drip administration experience (insulin for hyperglycemia, not DKA) as part of unit practice
- Willingness to work 12-hour nights and a 12x3 schedule; local or nearby candidates preferred
- RTO (temporary time off) requests must be included at submission
