This is a full-time position working nights with weekends.This is a great opportunity to be employed by one of the nation’s leading cardiology programs. You will work alongside some of the most respected and highly-trained physicians. Piedmont Heart Institute provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services.Responsibilities:Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient settingTake patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patients recordWrite progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summariesPrepare patient workupsOrder and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are deliveredWork alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.Piedmont Benefits include:Comprehensive compensation and benefits packageCME allowanceQuality, Service and ReputationQualifications:Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing Required andMasters degree in Nursing Required orGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board RequiredLicenses and Certifications:ACLS Upon Hire Required andBCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required andPA - Physician Assistant Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia.
