Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our high-risk obstetrical unit. Ideal candidates will have experience in high-volume, high-risk scenarios and be familiar with AWHONN staffing ratios.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, adhering to AWHONN staffing ratios.
• Engage in cervical ripening, triage, and labor management, including monitoring stable and unstable patients.
• Coordinate care during vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, including recovery of high-acuity patients.
• Utilize GE fetal monitors and document using Meditech and CPNS systems.
• Float to the antepartum unit as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience.
• Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate required.
• Current RN license required.
• Experience in circulating during cesarean sections and recovering high-acuity patients preferred.
