Job Summary :

This role is responsible for supporting various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll and compliance. The HR Representative is pivotal to proactive communication and fostering a positive workplace culture.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES : 

• Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation sessions and documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems.
• Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and responding to employee inquiries.
• Serve as a point of contact for employees’ questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives and company events.
• Assist in coordination of training and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Assist with performance management processes and employee development programs.
• Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• 1–3 years of experience in an HR support role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. 
• Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) required.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND SCHEDULE:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises.
