Full-Time Remote Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

to join our exceptional -Telehealth Services team. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality virtual patient care while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to improving patient outcomes across the communities we serve. This position offers

up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

| Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM | 1 weekend and 1 closing shift required per month Overview The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Experience • Less than a year of related experience is required Education • High School Graduate or Equivalent is required Certification/Licensure • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire • Current, unexpired Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, or equivalent) or EMT-Basic certification from an accredited organization Sentara Medical Group Sentara Medical Group consists of over 300 practices throughout Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.14 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
