As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records. Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access requirements and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
