Compensation

Carded Journeyman Electricians: $54.29/hour

Apprentice Journeyman-Level Electricians (Non-Carded): $41.29/hour

Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities

As a Carded Journeyman Electrician, you will:

• Install conduit, conductors, disconnects, panels, and related electrical equipment
• Perform power distribution and tooling connections
• Complete hot work terminations, cable terminations, and final electrical connections as required
• Assist with equipment startup, testing, and troubleshooting
• Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO, hot work permits, and PPE requirements
• Wear and maintain required FR (Flame-Resistant) clothing and arc flash protective equipment when working in designated areas
• Document completed work and support punch-list completion
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Electrical Apprentice Responsibilities

As an Electrical Apprentice, you will:

• Assist with material handling, conduit installation, wire pulls, and equipment setup
• Support electrical testing, commissioning, and startup activities
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Participate in daily safety meetings and training
• Follow established LOTO, PPE, and site safety requirements
• Complete assigned tasks under the supervision of licensed electricians

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54.29 - $54.29/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
