- Oversee the daily operations of surgical services, ensuring efficient and safe patient care.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the surgical team, including surgeons, nurses, and surgical techs.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
- Monitor surgical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and nursing leadership to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and scheduling for surgical services.
- Stay current with industry trends and advances in surgical techniques and technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Active RN licensure or relevant healthcare leadership certification.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within surgical services or perioperative settings.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures, healthcare regulations, and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
