Skilled Personal Care Specialist | Weekends | San Diego North County

We're a compassionate in-home care agency serving families throughout San Diego North County. Weekends are some of the most meaningful, and most needed, shifts in caregiving. We're looking for a reliable, skilled caregiver who takes pride in showing up and delivering exceptional, person-centered care when families need it most.

What You'll Do

Provide skilled personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Perform safe transfers and mobility assistance using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment
Support clients living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other cognitive conditions using dignity-first, person-centered techniques
Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
Offer genuine companionship and emotional support that honors each client's independence and individuality

What We're Looking For

Consistent weekend availability: Saturday and/or Sunday shifts
1+ year of in-home caregiving or similar hands-on experience
Demonstrated experience with transfers, lifts, and safe mobility assistance
Experience supporting clients with dementia or Alzheimer's (strongly preferred)
Valid California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration and current TB test
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
Dependable, warm, and professional — clients and families count on you
