Banquet Server – Banquets & Events Work at one of Salt Lake City’s most iconic hospitality destinations located within the historic Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square. Why You'll Love It Here Competitive pay of $18–$21 per hour based on experience Opportunity to work in a well‑known Utah venue Flexible and consistent scheduling with Sundays off Potential for growth and advancement within the organization What You'll Do Set up banquet and event spaces according to detailed banquet event orders (BEOs) and management direction Serve plated meals, buffet service, and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner Monitor guest needs throughout events and anticipate service requirements Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized event environment during service Assist with event teardown, resetting spaces, and post‑event cleanup Work collaboratively with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure smooth event execution Maintain high service standards and professional guest interactions throughout events Perform additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For Previous experience in banquet service, catering, or hospitality roles preferred Reliable, positive, and team‑oriented attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards Job Environment / Other Requirements May be required to work outside regular hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays Standing and walking for extended periods of time Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds Must pass a drug screen and background check and abide by all company policies Will take on additional duties as required or assigned by management Compensation $18.00–$21.00 per hour.
