Billing Coordinator OpportunityDirect Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Billing Coordinator to join its Accounting & Finance team. This hybrid/remote opportunity is available in Los Angeles, New York, Denver, Kansas City, St. Louis (Clayton), Chicago, Nashville, or Dallas and is ideal for a professional with 5+ years of billing experience in a law firm environment.The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for managing high-volume billing processes for a designated group of attorneys, handling approximately 1,000 prebills per billing cycle and supporting 30 billing attorneys. This role requires precision, professionalism, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of the billing cycle.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, revise, and distribute prebills and client invoicesProcess billing adjustments accurately and in a timely mannerCoordinate with the eBilling team to resolve invoice rejectionsRespond promptly to attorney and client billing inquiriesIdentify and resolve billing discrepanciesParticipate in attorney billing meetings and provide ongoing billing supportUtilize billing software, including Elite 3E, Proforma Tracker, InTapp Time, and Microsoft OfficeAssist with process improvements and special projects as neededQualifications5+ years of billing experience in a large firm environmentAssociate degree preferred or equivalent work experienceExperience with Elite 3E is a must; BillBlast experience is a plusComplex billing of key client focusedAttorney facing experienceStrong communication, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentHigh level of professionalism, accuracy, and customer serviceCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $80,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience and office locationRemote work schedule after 60-90 days (Must live within 1 hour commute to an office)401(k)Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurancePaid time off and sick leaveEmployee assistance programReferral bonus programParking/transit reimbursement (where applicable)This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal billing professional to join a nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm with a collaborative team and strong growth opportunities.
