Nurse Manager

Job Title: Nurse Manager/RN or LPN Location: Sterling, Illinois Facility: Allure of Sterling Join the Allure Team! This is a salaried leadership position open to both Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and supporting clinical staff in a skilled nursing environment. Position Summary The Nurse Manager works closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee the clinical operations of the facility. The nurse manager helps ensure regulatory compliance, supports nursing staff, and promotes high-quality resident care in accordance with state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff Ensure compliance with IDPH and federal regulations Assist with staff scheduling, staffing support, and call-ins as needed Monitor quality measures and participate in QAPI initiatives Support survey readiness and regulatory compliance Assist with investigations, incident follow-up, and documentation Conduct staff education and in-services as needed Promote a positive and collaborative team environment Qualifications Active Illinois RN or LPN license (required) Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred Previous charge nurse or leadership experience strongly preferred Knowledge of IDPH regulations and survey process is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lead, mentor, and support nursing staff Why Join Allure of Sterling?
