Controls Technician

We're partnering with a growing manufacturer seeking an experienced Automation / Controls Technician to support advanced automated manufacturing equipment and production systems. What You’ll Do Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs (Rockwell / Allen‑Bradley), HMIs, servo systems, vision systems, and robotics Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize equipment downtime Support the installation, integration, and startup of new automation equipment and robotic systems Partner with Engineering to support new equipment launches, machine improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives Build and maintain electrical control panels, wiring, and industrial control systems Identify root causes of equipment issues and implement long‑term corrective solutions Document repairs, modifications, and improvement activities while maintaining safety and quality standards What We’re Looking For Technical degree with 3+ years of automation and controls experience, or 10+ years of hands‑on automation experience Skilled Trades Journeyman certification or equivalent experience preferred Strong experience with PLC programming, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial automation Experience with robotics, servo systems, and automated manufacturing equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics Experience with assembly, injection molding, die casting, or similar manufacturing environments preferred A proactive, team‑oriented problem solver with a passion for troubleshooting and continuous improvement Why Consider It Competitive compensation based on experience plus excellent benefits package Join a stable, growing manufacturing organization with long‑term career opportunities Work with advanced automation, robotics, and state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing technology Collaborative, hands‑on environment where your technical expertise will have a direct impact on production performance Opportunity to expand your automation and controls skill set while working on a variety of challenging equipment and projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
