Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Abbott seeks a Production Supervisor for second-shift operations at its St. Paul structural heart manufacturing facility. The role involves leading manufacturing teams in a regulated cleanroom environment, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO standards while maintaining quality and productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing floor operations to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets
• Lead and coach team members on Lean tools including 5S, Standard Work, and Root Cause Analysis
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency
• Ensure FDA compliance, ISO 13485 adherence, and internal quality standard maintenance
• Collaborate across Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and support product introductions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, life sciences, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years experience in regulated manufacturing (medical device or pharmaceutical preferred)
• 1–2 years supervisory or leadership experience
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, GMP, and Lean Manufacturing principles
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and contamination control
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred

Compensation: $68,000–$136,000 base
