General Liability Attorney — Providence, Rhode Island (Hybrid Available) Join Our Growing Litigation Team We are seeking a motivated and experienced General Liability Attorney to join our expanding practice in the Providence, RI area. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys handling complex litigation matters, and is committed to delivering exceptional client service. Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload of general liability matters from inception through resolution. Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents. Develop case strategies and provide practical legal advice to clients. Collaborate with colleagues, clients, experts, and insurance carriers to achieve favorable outcomes. Negotiate settlements and evaluate litigation risk. Maintain compliance with court deadlines and client reporting requirements. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Rhode Island (Massachusetts admission is a plus). 3-10+ years of litigation experience, preferably in general liability, insurance defense, premises liability, construction litigation, or personal injury defense. Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Experience handling depositions, court appearances, and motion practice. Trial experience is a plus but not required.
