In partnership with internal business units, this role ensures the precision and inspection of parts moving into the facility. This role supports Quality Management Systems, drives data collection, reporting and analysis. Partners with leaders in the daily operation of an area with responsibility to improve quality systems, processes, and performance.Responsibilities (All Levels)Lead problem solving for quality issues.Implement resolutions from basic to complex problems.Implement process improvements.Lead team adherence to Quality Control Plans and mistake proofing.Conduct process and product audits.Conduct standardized problem-solving and corrective actions.Support gage/tool calibration and Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R).Participate in MRB review and corrective actions.Adhere to company policies and state/federal regulations.RequirementsQuality Technician IEducation: High School diploma or equivalentExperience: 0–3 years in qualityProblem Solving: BasicLeadership: Supports team communication and metricsTechnical Knowledge: Basic drawing, wiring, schematic interpretation; intermediate PC skillsQuality Technician IIEducation: Associate's degree or equivalentExperience: 3+ years in qualityProblem Solving: ModerateLeadership: Leads team communication on quality metrics and project countermeasures; ability to train othersTechnical Knowledge: Intermediate knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, Quality Control Plans, mistake proofing, NMR, ECR, SPC, ISO processes; CMM programming knowledgeQuality Technician IIIEducation: Bachelor's degree preferredExperience: 5+ years in quality or Certified Quality Technician preferredProblem Solving: Advanced, including cross-functional issuesLeadership: Leads multiple teams or departments; mentors and trains othersTechnical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of all QC tools, ISO systems, and process improvement methodologies; design audits and complex corrective actionsAdditional Skills (All Levels)Maintain professional rapport with peers and support groupsCommunicate issues and countermeasures to SupervisorPerform reading, writing, and math functionsCommitment to continuous learning and quality standardsPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds.
