As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast‑paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will stay visible, support access awareness, and respond to site needs with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.62 - $19.62 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels and documenting activity as required. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance, access control, and/or policy‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Support site operations by completing routine reports, maintaining an alert presence, and communicating professionally with staff and visitors during daily activities and/or after‑hours coverage. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
