Wound Ostomy Care Nurse

Schedule

This position requires a full-time commitment with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Wound Ostomy Care Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in wound care and ostomy management, providing quality care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care to patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about wound care, ostomy management, and continence issues.
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Wound Care specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• CWON(R) or CWOCN(R) certification necessary for all RNs in the WOC Nurse role.
• Wound care certification (WCC, CWS, or CWCN) is required; ostomy certification is optional.
