Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Location: Manufacturing Environment. Shift: 2nd Shift | Late Afternoon-Evening. Schedule: On-site | Occasional overtime as needed. We are hiring a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift to oversee manufacturing operations, lead production teams, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. Responsibilities Supervise and support production employees across assigned departments. Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance. Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations are met. Troubleshoot production issues with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams. Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and ERP/MRP updates. Enforce PPE, safety policies, 5S, and audit-ready work areas. Support Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement efforts. Provide clear shift handoff communication to 1st shift supervisors. Requirements 3+ years of production or manufacturing experience. 1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety, and quality standards. Ability to read work instructions, schedules, and technical documentation. ERP/MRP system and basic computer skills. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead independently during 2nd shift operations. Preferred Experience in machining, fabrication, assembly, or similar manufacturing environments. ISO 9001 or QMS knowledge. Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
