Account Executive, Payments

Minimal ramp time with the ability to get started quickly Flexibility to help transition existing residual income – flexible structures to help bridge legacy income Competitive base with uncapped commission and residual earning potential A strong product suite that helps you win business The opportunity to build long-term, recurring revenue Responsibilities Leverage your existing network and industry experience to originate and close new payments opportunities Sell a full suite of payment processing, software, and value-added solutions to businesses nationwide Identify, pursue, and close high‑value merchant accounts and partnerships Maintain and expand relationships with your portfolio of clients and referral partners Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through implementation and ongoing relationship management Consistently exceed sales targets through strategic pipeline development and execution Partner cross‑functionally to deliver a seamless onboarding and client experience Stay current on industry trends, pricing models, and competitive positioning Experience & Requirements Proven track record in merchant services, payments, or fintech sales Demonstrated ability to generate revenue quickly with minimal ramp time Existing portfolio, referral network, or book of business preferred Strong understanding of pricing, residuals, and deal structuring in the payments space Skilled at navigating complex sales cycles and closing high‑value deals Self‑directed, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy Strong relationship builder with a consultative sales approach Preferred Qualifications Consultative selling and solution positioning Negotiation and deal structuring Pipeline management and forecasting CRM proficiency and disciplined sales execution Strong communication and executive presence Operate with professionalism, integrity, and accountability Thrive in a performance‑driven, fast‑paced environment Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies Communicate effectively with internal teams, partners, and clients At Celero, we believe great salespeople should have the opportunity to build something meaningful over time.
