As our new Head Lifeguard you will:* Address patron concerns and provide frontline customer service* Coordinate emergency response efforts per YWCA’s Emergency Action Plan* Communicate schedule changes and updates to staff and patrons* Ensure lifeguard rotation and break schedules are followed* Adjust water features and programs to suit patron needs* Maintain cleanliness and safety of the Aquatics Area* Track and replenish first aid and safety supplies* Assist with administrative and programming duties as assigned* Provide lifeguard or swim instruction coverage when needed****Qualifications:***** Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire* Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons* Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hirePer pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $18.50 - $20.40/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
