Details Float position within the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, floating within scope as needed to meet facility needs Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:8 using a team nursing model Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Epic charting system experience required Requirements Active RN license (PA or Compact) required BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:8 required NIHSS, TCAR, and TCRN certifications preferred Experience with cardiac and vasoactive drip management preferred Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management skills preferred Experience with post-cardiac cath, post-cardiac surgery, and TAVR care preferred Additional Information Care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients including cardiac, respiratory, orthopedic, and genitourinary/renal cases Responsibilities may include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams First-time travelers are welcome to apply Preferred RTO of 5 days or less Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted Former Guthrie Healthcare System employees must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P-747427.
