Forklift Operator

Warehouse Production ShiftEnsure that product is picked in a manner that ensures proper rotation of inventory and that the production line is always supplied with enough materials to keep operating. This position is a 12 hour rotating shift.Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:Picking all raw material and ingredients for productionPull all materials by the oldest lot code on the pick list firstEnsure that all returns to the warehouse are clean, secured, weighed and properly labeledWork with production to ensure that all partial bags are used firstReturn materials to the proper place in the warehouse/no mixed palletsEnsure that all raw materials in the warehouse are labeledCycle counting / inventory controlConfirm order / product completion & conditionForklift battery changing maintenancePalletizing as neededLunch and break relief as neededReport all problems immediately to the supervisorReport inventory issues to the inventory control teamMaintain all work areas in a clean and sanitary conditionPerforms all work in a safe, efficient and cooperative mannerPerform any other work duties as assignedEducation/Experience/Skills Required:Forklift certification2+ years of forklift experienceOn the job training
